The path I’ve been following the last ten years as a dancer has turned many times, exploring movement and space, but also humans and their environment. Allowing change in life experiences and curiosity to be present along the way has defined me as a living being and consequently as an artist.
Besides performing as a freelance dancer in Canada, Norway and internationally, I have studied humans and their bodies through massage therapy as well as humans and their space perceptions through the field of architecture. These explorations have been beneficial in terms of acquiring knowledge and broadening my perspective, but they have also been revealing about my own personal nature. As much as I can call myself a trained and experienced dancer, I see now that I am mainly a being who needs movement and creation to thrive. In that sense, while finding other fields fascinating and challenging, I always come home to myself through creation.
